Went in for Thursday night dinner. Made reservations and got seated right on time. The food and the service were both excellent. Larry was fantastic. Great personality! Super attentive. There are plenty of GF options all the GF items we had were fabulous.

We waited about 10 minutes before someone walked by and asked if we were helped. There was no one behind the counter that we could see to say hi, we want to order something to go. Lady who walked by got our order and left, so counter person rang us up. The item was a little pricey very small but it tasted good. Would not buy again. Maybe Gelato next time. Sure their food is good. Tiramisu was 3 inches wide by 3 inches and about 2.5 inches tall for $10.00 maybe another inch squeeze in there. I was visiting from FL friend said food is amazing I believe her.

So, I looked up a Pats Philly out of curiosity and Pats on a nice Italian bread Similar to a Chicago beef sandwich. The flavor of the sandwich here at Montanos was good, but the bread was a situation. Almost like a soft squishy sourdough or something with no crust at all. With proper bread could be a 5star sandwich.

I've been eating their food for years through delivery for business lunches and always loved it. I went in person for the first time, and the ambience is great! It's lively without being too loud and the jazz music was fantastic - very chill. My son and I had no trouble carrying on a conversation while we ate. I was pleased with the service also - we had everything we needed promptly, yet never felt rushed despite it being Saturday night.

We look forward to dining here when in Roanoke. The beer selection is flabbergasting; only few drafts but hundreds of bottles and cans. The food and portions are always satisfying. The menu is extensive with apps, shareables, sandwiches, entrees, and excellent desserts. The dining area is cozy and the bar area is moody and fun.
